Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our software development lifecycle and infrastructure operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to automate and streamline our build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and reliability of our systems. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting production environments, implementing security best practices, and managing cloud infrastructure.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.

Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and scalability of our applications.

Implement security best practices and measures to protect our systems and data from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure smooth deployment of applications.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in DevOps and cloud computing, and recommend new tools and practices to improve efficiency and productivity.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or system administration roles.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
