Job Description:

As a Back-end Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and database architecture for our web applications. You will work closely with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. You will be responsible for writing clean, efficient code using modern back-end technologies and best practices, and ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our systems.

 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to define and implement back-end requirements for web applications.

Design and develop scalable and efficient server-side logic using languages such as Python, Ruby, or Node.js.

Implement and maintain database schemas and models using relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance functionality and features of our applications.

Optimize performance and scalability of back-end systems through code optimization, caching, and other techniques.

Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing appropriate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.

Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in back-end development.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in back-end development roles.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Node.js.

Experience with web frameworks such as Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, or Express.js.

Solid understanding of database technologies such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
