Node.js Fullstack Developer in San Francisco (California)

About the Role:

As a Node.js Fullstack Developer, you’ll be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of our applications, from conception to deployment. You’ll work on both the front-end and back-end of our applications, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and scalable.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express
Build user interfaces with React.js and/or other front-end frameworks
Implement database solutions with MongoDB, MySQL, or other technologies
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and design discussions
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Node.js and front-end development ecosystems
Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and product managers
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Take ownership of your work and be a self-starter

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a Node.js developer
Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks (e.g., React.js)
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Passion for building high-performance and scalable applications
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bonus points for experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
