Job Description:

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure and analytics platforms. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to collect, process, and analyze large datasets, and develop scalable and reliable data pipelines and systems. You will be responsible for implementing data models, optimizing performance, and ensuring the integrity and security of our data.

 

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines and systems for collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets.

Implement data models and schemas to support data analytics and reporting requirements.

Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ingest data from various sources into our data warehouse and analytics platforms.

Optimize performance and scalability of data pipelines and systems through code optimization, caching, and other techniques.

Ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of our data by implementing appropriate data governance and security measures.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and provide support for data analysis and modeling.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering and analytics.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.

Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
