As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will play a pivotal role in our development team, leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in custom theme development. Your primary responsibility will be to architect, develop, and maintain WordPress-based websites and applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Develop custom WordPress themes from scratch, adhering to best practices and coding standards.

Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.

Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.

Implement security measures to safeguard websites against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers to foster continuous improvement.

Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in WordPress development, incorporating relevant technologies into our projects.

 

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development, with a strong portfolio showcasing custom theme development expertise.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including ES6+), and PHP.

In-depth understanding of WordPress architecture, including hooks, APIs, and database structure.

Experience with popular WordPress frameworks and libraries, such as Underscores, Timber, and Advanced Custom Fields.

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
