About the Role:
As a Java developer, you will play a key role in our team, designing, developing, and maintaining our Java-based applications. You will leverage your expertise to create high-performing and efficient solutions that meet our business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Java applications using object-oriented programming principles
- Implement APIs and integrate with third-party services
- Develop and maintain robust and efficient code
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Refactor existing code for improved maintainability
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem
- Collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and product managers
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Take ownership of your work and be a self-starter
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Java developer
- Strong understanding of Java core libraries and object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) a plus
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Passion for building high-performance and scalable applications
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Japanese language proficiency (conversational or business level) preferred
