Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to automate and streamline our development and deployment processes. You will be responsible for implementing best practices for infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with software developers to design and implement infrastructure and deployment solutions for cloud-based applications.

Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and applications.

Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues and incidents in a timely manner.

Document infrastructure and deployment processes and provide support and training to other team members.

Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of professional experience in DevOps or cloud engineering roles.

Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

Solid understanding of networking, security, and Linux/Unix systems administration.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
