Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled HTML Developer to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The successful candidate will play a key role in transforming design concepts into high-quality, responsive HTML code. This role requires a strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a passion for creating engaging user experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into clean, well-structured HTML/CSS code

Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability

Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility

Implement responsive design principles to ensure a seamless user experience across devices

Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end code with server-side logic

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry trends

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field

Proven experience as an HTML Developer or Front-end Developer

Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles

Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS

Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
