Not unexpectedly, Tim Cook (Apple) was named first in CEOWORLD Magazine’s 2022 worldwide ranking of the world’s best tech CEOs across all industries, followed by Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft Corporation, and Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet (Google). Andy Jassy, the Chief of Amazon, came in fourth in the 2022 list, ahead of Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, in five, and Mark Zuckerberg, the founder and CEO of Meta (Facebook), in sixth. Leading financial, manufacturing, and tech industry firms top the list of sectors with the most winners. Warren Buffett, 90, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A), would undoubtedly be included on any list of tech CEOs to invest in for the long run (NYSE:BRK.B). While Dr. CC TSMC Taiwan’s Wei came in eighth and Buffett seventh, respectively. Altogether, Dr. CC Wei of TSMC Taiwan, Jensen Huang of Nvidia, & Alfred F. Kelly Jr. of Visa Inc. are ranked 8, 9, & 10 amongst some of the top 10 CEOs and managers in the world for 2022.

Tim Cook – Apple – US

Apple’s CEO and member of the board of directors is Tim Cook. Tim was Apple’s Chief Operating Officer prior to being elected CEO in August 2011 and was in charge of all global business operations, covering overall supply chain managing, sales activities, plus service and support for Apple in all regions and nations. Additionally, he oversaw Apple’s Macintosh division and was instrumental in constantly forging strategic alliances with manufacturers and resellers to provide flexibility in reaction to a market that was becoming more competitive. Tim formerly served as the vice president of corporate materials at Compaq, where he was in charge of procuring and overseeing the company’s entire product inventory.

The CEO and President of Microsoft is Satya Nadella. Before being named CEO in February 2014, Nadella held executive positions throughout the firm’s consumer and corporate operations.

When he joined Microsoft, the tech industry giant in 1992, he immediately established a reputation as an executive with the ability to convert some of Microsoft’s greatest product offerings by utilizing a broad variety of technologies and businesses.

Nadella most recently held the position of Executive Vice President for the Cloud and Enterprise Group at Microsoft. In this capacity, he oversaw the company’s development into a leader in the market and the field for cloud services and infrastructure. When he was VP of Microsoft’s business division, Nadella oversaw development and research for the Online Services Division.

Nadella worked at Sun Microsystems’ technology department before to joining Microsoft in the tech industry.

Nadella, who is originally from Hyderabad, India, now resides in Bellevue, Washington, with his family. He graduated from Mangalore University with a BS in Electrical Engineering, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an MS in Computer Science, as well as the University of Chicago with an MBA. Buffett was conceived in Nebraska’s Omaha. Growing up with a passion for business and investment, he finally enrolled in the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School in 1947 before moving to the University of Nebraska at age 19 and earning his degree there. He later earned his MBA from Columbia Business School, where he established his investment strategy on Benjamin Graham’s idea of value investing. Dr. C.C. Wei – TSMC – Taiwan

Dr. CC Wei, who joined TSMC in 1998, is the company’s president & co-CEO at the moment. Dr. Wei served as Co-COO of TSMC from March 2012 to November 2013 prior to his most recent position. He received the 2017 Entrepreneur of the Year award from Fortune. He was named first overall on the list of the top 100 tech CEOs in the world by the Harvard Business Review in 2019 for the entirety of his term. Mr. Huang has BSEE and MSEE degrees from Stanford University and Oregon State University, respectively. He is also a big name in the tech industry.

Alfred F Kelly Jr  – Visa Inc. – US

The year 1958 saw the birth of Alfred Kelly Jr. in Bronxville, New York. He took over as CEO of Visa Inc. in October 2016. (formerly Charles W. Scharf). He has five kids. Visa is a multinational organization that facilitates consumer and commercial transactions through digital payments. According to Wikipedia, Alfred Kelly earned his high school diploma from Iona Preparatory School in 1976, a bachelor’s in CIS in 1980, and a master’s degree in 1980. Alfred Kelly Jr. had a variety of jobs with the Pepsi Company during 1981 and 1985. Information systems & financial planning are a couple of these.
